St Joseph by-the-Sea Track & Field  

2/18 - Catholic State Champs - St. Anthony's
A BIG day for the Viking jumpers as Brian Russell (HJ) and Liam Vogt (LJ) win Catholic State titles in their specialties.  Vogt's
22'-7.25 jump is #3 in S.I. History and #11 in CHSAA History!  Vogt (22'-7.25"), Russell (21'-5.5") and Jerry Mattia (20'-10")
all soar past 20 feet.  Russell's LJ PR earned him a 4th place medal.  In the high jump, Brian Russell won the competition at 6'-2
then had 3 solid attempts at 6'-6.  The season ends for all except the jumpers.
