2/17 - CHSAA
Catholic State Champs - St. Anthony's H.S. Originally scheduled for the Armory on 2/9, the last meet of the season takes place at St. Anthony's in Long Island. Capt Phil Blanda, after not practicing for two weeks due to a pulled hamstring, valiantly competes in the LJ and finishes in 3rd place. The frosh 4x400 relay runs a seasonal best of 4:02.01 FAT, a solid time considering they ran it on the flat track at St. A's. Nick Velez (59.6) and Rob Ruspantini (59.9) break 60 secs. |
