1/4/13 - NYCHSAA Soph Sectionals - Fordham University - Bronx, NY A spirited effort throughout the day on the flat track at Fordham University. Michael DiBiase represents the field team with a 2nd place finish in the pole vault and 5th place in the high jump. Rocco Rago breaks 10 seconds in the 55 HH for a 4th place medal. Robbie Guidicipietro earns a silver medal in the 3,200 meter run. Nick Velez wins the "Sectional Championship" in the 800 while Rob Ruspantini finishes in 2nd place. The Soph 4x800 relay win the "Sectional Championship" on a big 3rd leg by Michael Cardona. The 4x200 & 4x400 relays both take 4th place. The soph team, while finishing in 8th place as freshmen and 30 points away from the top 3, take 4th place on the day - a sign of vast improvement.
