5/23 - 83rd CHSAA Intersectionals - Icahn Stadium
In his final city championship, Capt. Danny Zaccariello cops the 1600 meter run by unleashing a furious kick over the last 150
meters to avenge last year's close loss.  This is the third city championship Zaccariello has won this year.  Junior Adam Civitano
was on his way to a win in the 400 IH but a hit on the 9th hurdle had him settling for 2nd place.  Senior Mike Baio officially has
returned with a fine 1:59.3 lead-off leg on the 4x800 relay.  After suffering two injuries this year, he was finally able to break out and
snap 2 minutes.  Meena Farid added a 5th place bronze medal in the shot put.  Freshmen Mike Ceciliani had the Icahn Stadium
crowd on its feet by running a fine 3 laps (for the 1600) and then suffering through an agonizing 4th lap!!
