10/22/05 - Staten Island Champs - Clove Lakes Park

Super day for Viking XC!!  Frank Recce lowers his own school course record by 32 secs.  More importantly, our varsity
sets an all time best 5 man mark with a 17:18 avg.  7 ALL TIME performances are set including Jonathan Gedeon (#5 AT),
 Aiese (#12 AT) and Balzer (#8 SO AT).  Sexton's time also makes him #2 JR AT.  Frosh Artie Seaman comes through in
a big way by stepping up and becoming the 5th man on the JV team.  His time is #8 FR AT.  Both Varsity and JV earn third
place trophies in one of the more competitive XC Island Champs.
