Breen Invitational - Clove Lakes Park
The Vikings have a big day to kick off the XC '09 campaign. Capt.
Daniel Zaccariello starts the season off with the individual win
in a fine 16:51, good enough for #2 on the All-Time List. Junior Alex
Civitano cracks the top 5 in the race. All of the varsity times
are significantly faster than last year's Breen meet as the team places second.
The JV was lead by Luke Olsson, Tyler Franco and
Justin Henderson who all cracked the top 10 in the race. The JV team
finished in third. Thirteen freshmen make their racing debuts
as Danny Acerra leads the way. The freshmen placed fourth in the
team standings. All in all, a FANTASTIC start for what
promises to be an historic XC season.
