10/21 - NYCHSAA Girls Sectionals - Clove Lakes Park
For the first time in many years, the team places in the top 3 in the Varsity,
JV and Frosh races earning three plaques. Tiffany
Evanego paces the
varsity as Chiara Guida drops a big race in leading the JV. The "gimp" duo
of Kristina DeMeis & Maria
DeSantis help lock up 2nd place in the JV in a tight
battle with Good Counsel. Jane Endresen breaks out and is the #1 frosh
on
the day. An interesting note as the girls have the largest XC team in the
NY Archdiocese today! A great day for the Lady
Vikings!
