CLOSE TO 300 PHOTOS 7/20 - 5th Annual Daniel Kelley Twilight Mile - St. Joseph Sea Perfect conditions were on hand as 200 runners laced up to compete in the 5th Annual Twilight Mile. In the Elite Men's race, Xavier H.S. Senior J.C. Rice dominated the field & broke the meet record with a 4:23.5. SUNY Buffalo & former Curtis star Corrine Birchard won the Elite Women's race rather handedly as well. |

CLOSE TO 400 PHOTOS 7/20 - 4th Annual Daniel Kelley Twilight Mile - St. Joseph Sea Despite the heat and humidity, over 250 runners competed in the 4th Annual DK Twilight Mile. In the men's race, Sea alum Daniel Zaccariello of Wagner College defended his title in an exciting finish. He and Alex LoPresti, a Univ of Alabama freshmen, battled down the final straightaway neck and neck until the finish line. In the elite women's race, Christina Melian, formerly of Wagner H.S. demolished the meet record and is the first female to go under 5:00 mins. Melian, a SUNY StonyBrook freshmen and USATF Junior National Champion ran even splits for a 4:58.79 FAT. RESULTS: AGE GROUP CYO OVERALL RESULTS NOTE: Due to the thunderstorms we weren't able to present the plaques to the award winners. All plaques will be mailed to the age group winners. 7/21 - 3rd Annual Daniel Kelley Twilight Mile - St. Joseph Sea
Over 250 competitors toed the starting line for either the race/walk on a
beautiful summer evening. Current Wagner College soph
and former Sea captain, Dan Zaccariello, outkicks the field to win the Elite
Men's Mile, 4:30.89. Victoria Pontecorvo, heading
into her senior year at Rutgers Univ. wins a hotly contested Elite Women's Mile.
The tight pack of three ran together until
Pontecorvo unleashed a big kick for her third consecutive title.

OVER 900 PHOTOS!
The 108 degree heat didn't stop 220 competitors from registering and over 500 to
show their
support to honor the late DK. Former Villanova captain Dan Lewis won the
Elite Men's Race in 4:24.
Victoria Pontecorvo, a Rutgers Univ. junior, defended her crown in the Elite
Women's Race. Close to
65 Sea Track Alumni turn-out for a great day! We thank everyone who
entered and showed up despite
the unfavorable conditions. Special thanks go out to: Volunteer Heart,
McGinn's, Great Kills Swim Club
and the administration of St. Joseph by-the-Sea as well as our numerous

(5:20.13) win the
